Mototerapia
Mototerapia? Therapie op 2 wielen
In samenwerking met opgeleide piloten is het de bedoeling om een glimlach te toveren op het gezicht van mensen van alle leeftijden die te kampen krijgen met zwaar ziek zijn of maatschappelijk kwetsbaar zijn.
Hoe? Door hen de kans te bieden om in de ziekenhuisgangen of in de tuin mee te rijden op een (elektrische) motorfiets.
De E-motor beweegt wel maar maakt geen lawaai én stoot geen uitlaatgassen uit.
We kunnen dus zonder "geronk" op rondrit doorheen de gangen van het ziekenhuis, in de voor- of achtertuin van een instelling, in de gang van een woonzorgcentrum of eender waar elders mits toestemming.
Indien toegestaan door de locatie die we bezoeken kan het buiten zowel elektrisch, op een 4 takt of een 2 takt motor.
Nog straffer wordt het wanneer men stilstaat bij het idee dat, mits opleiding en oefening, het (verplegend) personeel en de dokters (waar van toepassing) zelf ook kunnen instappen in dit project als piloot.
Een ervaring die voor hen hoogstens een grote droom was of zelfs totaal onverwacht op hun pad komt.
Het idee krijgt alvast de steun van Stefan Everts, Liam Everts en Franky De Smet Van Damme als trotse ambassadeurs.
Dit idee komt overgewaaid vanuit het buitenland.
Het werd 10 jaar geleden opgestart in Italië door FMX piloot Vanni Oddera. Niet veel later kreeg Antonio Navas de smaak te pakken en ging (in overleg met Vanni) van start in Spanje.

Hey! I'm Zeger "Ziggy" Verbeke and Steady Pace Coaching is my one man mission based on the Do It Yourself ethic from within my roots, the H8000 area hardcorepunk scene.
I started my freelance journey as Humble Services, 2013-2024, and became part of the Concert Touring Support Crew in 2023.
Over the years I have expanded my skillset while offering services within my interests which are outdoor & indoor sports or music events and empowerment through coaching or education.
I work from the heart with a focused and resilient open-mind to get the job (beyond) done.
I have all drivers licenses:
> A: Moped, Motorcycle
> BE: Car, splitter (+ heavy trailer 3500KG)
> C: Truck, semi-truck, mini-nightliner(+trailer)
> DE: Nightliner(+trailer)...anything goes.
> GE: Tractor (never had the chance to drive one though)
My main job is my very passionate work as driving instructor.
I commit to what I do. I live straight edge and on a plant based diet. There is no planet B.
I love animals (especially dogs), sports (I am an IronMan Finisher, I hit the gym regularly and I ride e-dirt bikes), music (I sing, play drums & guitars) and the original TMNT comics. Woofabunga!
